The first team game was called off due to the waterlogged outfield at salfords but the seconds won well at horsley and send. Salfords batted first and made 130 all out thanks to a splendid knock of 57 from Tony Palmer. Luke Edmonds 3-16 and John Lambert 3-2 bowled well to skittle out the hosts for just 56 and take 38 points from the game.
