Besley ton not enough
It was a day to forget for the Salfords Sunday side as they were pulverised
by an impressive Dorking 2nd XI.

Only Rob Besley (104 no) had any reason to
feel pleased at the end of the day as he batted superbly, whilst all those
around him floundered, to notch his first century of the season. Salfords
only managed 188 in 40 overs and this was never going to be enough against
a strong batting side. This was borne out by the fact that the visitors
reached their target with 10 overs to spare.
