Salfords CC are looking for new players of all standards to join our friendly cricket club

based at our attractive Petridge Wood Common ground 2 miles south of Redhill. We compete

in the Surrey Downs League on Saturdays entering a first eleven in the 2nd division with the

2nd team promoted to division 3 after winning division 4 in 2009.  A sunday team plays friendly

fixtures every sunday throughout the season.

The club which was founded in 1921 hosts a cricket week each season in july, plays midweek 20 over cricket and takes part in an indoor winter league.  The club also have an annual cricket tour over the August bank holiday.

The new season 2010 is almost upon us. Tuesday night practice will start at the club from tues 27th April from 6.30pm.  Friendlies have been arranged for the 24th and 25th April V Smallfield and Merstham with the league season starting on the 1st May. The first team are at home V capel and the second team are on the road at Horsley and Send.
